You won’t believe how many guys are shaving their legs

Guys are sending grooming rules down the drain — by shaving their legs, a new study claims.

A hair-razing 48 percent of men admitted to trimming or shaving their leg hair and not just for sports, according to a survey by Men’s Health magazine.

The smooth operators said in the survey, “I don’t shave clean, but I do use a trimmer to cut it down” or “I shave my legs frequently.”

The buzz-worthy shaving trend may be tied to the desire to look like a sports hero or a porn star, according to Mark Simpson, who launched the Facebook survey of roughly 600 people.

Legs that are smoother than a baby’s bottom help guys look buff by accentuating muscles, Simpson said, according to the UK Independent. He dubbed the shaven studs “spornosexual.”

Women’s Health also surveyed women on the subject asking, “What do you think about guys shaving their legs?”

More than half of woman said they approve of guy manscaping their legs. Roughly 30 percent of women said they “like a man who trims leg hair down” and 22 percent “like a man with clean shaven legs,” according to the survey.
