HELL’S KITCHEN — An upstate restaurant chain that claims to have invented the Buffalo wing is bringing its “secret” recipe to West 57th Street.

Anchor Bar, which started in Buffalo, New York, plans to open its first New York City outpost at 327 W. 57th St., between Eighth and Ninth avenues, owner Carlos Rosario said.

One of Anchor Bar's original owners, Teressa Bellissimo, created the Buffalo wing in 1964 by deep frying chicken wings and topping them with a “secret sauce,” according to the restaurant's website.

The chain currently has 10 locations around the U.S., according to its website — including its original Buffalo outpost and a newly opened eatery in San Antonio.

In addition to its “world famous wings,” the restaurant serves chicken fingers, homemade lasagna, pizza, sandwiches and “finger foods,” its menu shows.

The West 57th Street outpost should open within the next five or six months, pending liquor license approval, Rosario said.

The space was formerly occupied by Kennedy’s Grill Room & Bar.
